Updates from the Morse Garden
The fall is a great time for gardening!!! Although the cold of winter is quickly setting in, students (and parents) harvested some lettuce from the Morse Garden for the school Thanksgiving Feast!
Below, a first grade class is tending to and harvesting lettuce, spinach, and garlic, that will be ready next spring.

Below are pictures of the SHMS Kitchen Garden's newly built raised bed. It's location outside of the cafeteria make it perfect for plans to supply salad greens to our students come spring.
The existing vegetable bed with some very hardy Swiss Chard still growing.
